Debate Feminista publishes original academic texts on gender, sexuality and feminism. Its international distribution is not confined to the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America, as it publishes articles in English and Portuguese. Its readership is mostly composed of researchers, teachers and students in the fields of gender studies, women studies, sexuality, and feminism. The research results, academic essays and critical reviews it disseminates help people participate in the leading intellectual and political debates produced by feminist thought on the condition of women and the problems facing the LGBTQ+ community. Its purpose is to advance and disseminate rigorous scientific knowledge on these issues.
