Abstract

The purpose of this article is to use conceptual tools from queer feminisms, STS (Science and Technology Studies) and the sociology of affectivity, to analyze how vulnerability is experienced in serodiscordance (or difference of serological status) in homo and heteroerotic-affective bonds in Mexico City, on the basis of gender and social class. In this text, I take up these sociocultural complexities of the relationship between subjects and the biomedicalization of HIV/AIDS and sexuality, through their corporeal-affective impact.
